My session with Kypris was the turning point in a several-months-long illness and pattern of exhaustive behavior following a major move.  She invoked just the right tools to break my dysfunctional behavior and help me get grounded.  She helped me connect with my new space (the land and ancestors) and taught me (again) how to ask for and set up a bubble of protection around me.  Her powerful shamanic practices, Reiki, caring touch, and common sense psychology combined to bring me a sense of well-being that alleviated my fears as well as my physical symptoms.  I recommend Kypris to get to the heart of the problem quickly and to effectively resolve issues on many levels.

Kaliani, Cancer Survivor

My session with Kypris was so nurturing from the very moment I stepped into her office. From the first heartfelt hug to the specially brewed rose petal tea, I could feel Kypris’s presence and intention so clearly as we began our journey together. After a quick verbal debrief of what was happening for me, she was able to immediately tune into my body and my spirit and begin a major healing of my heart and my ability to give and receive love and vitality. Her years of shamanic training and healing experience really held the session in a loving and gentle container that allowed me to fully let go and let Spirit move through me. I have been changed for the better on a fundamental level in just an hour session with Kypris, specifically, I am more aware in how I love and care for myself and how that self-love amps up my ability to give and receive from others with joy!

Thanks Carolyn! I can’t wait to get it up on the site next week. I look forward to sharing your stories about miracles with my readers too. As I recall there was a wonderful one about a friend of yours and his experience with Cancer…

I have a slow-growing prostate cancer (just became intermediate in one sector).
I have three treatment options: 1) radical surgery; 2) 5-week non-hormone-assisted radiation or 3) cryogenic treatment. Being quite sexually interested, inclined & active, spiritual, tantric & kinky, and otherwise very active, fit & healthy, as well as expecting another 30-40 years on Mother Earth – I want a great sexual quality-of-life and future for me and my lovers/partners ahead. And thoughts or recommendations? (PS I love prostate massage from my Goddess, as well as sharing all our juices).

      Dear John,

From my research of the literature, it seems that there are pros and cons in terms of side effects, recovery, and long term sexuality effects for each of these treatments.

While Cryosurgery may seem appealing because of its non-invasive nature, there are some indications that it can be more devastating to erectile function, and that it also may not be as good at eradicating the cancer. Here is an article from the American Cancer Society on the subject: http://www.cancer.org/cancer/prostatecancer/detailedguide/prostate-cancer-treating-cryosurgery

Radical surgery may or may not cause problems with erectile function. The crux of the matter seems to be whether the surgery damages the nerves and blood vessels that create erection. If you choose this option it is important to talk with your surgeon beforehand about the importance of continuing sexual function to your life. If you can, find a surgeon who values this as much as you do.

Radiation treatment doesn’t seem to be much of a guarantee of continuing sexual function either. According to WebMD, radiation treatment can result in a slow gradual decline in erectile function that is permanent, while with radical surgery there is at least some chance of recovering function (http://www.webmd.com/erectile-dysfunction/guide/erectile-dysfunction-prostate-cancer).

Whatever you choose, please know that there are many options still available to you for sexual pleasure even if you don’t retain the ability for erection. In terms of female partners it’s important to understand that according to all the research, most women don’t achieve orgasm from intercourse alone. In terms of your own sexual pleasure, it’s important to know that even without erection you can still experience orgasm and a great deal of pleasure. So while I would make the best choices you can to preserve erectile function, your survival and recovery is the foremost concern.

I strongly recommend that you also familiarize yourself with alternative forms of lovemaking to retain a great sexual quality of life for both yourself and your partners. I have an e-course that will be available in a few weeks to help with that, or you can contact me directly for a private consultation.

      Best Wishes.

  3. When I initially commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a comment
is added I get four emails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove people from
    that service? Bless you!

Hi, so sorry you are getting unwanted email. Let’s see if we can solve this together. I don’t think I have the ability to alter your wordpress settings, but I believe there should be something at the bottom of the emails you are getting that allows you to go in and change your preferences. Probably you just need to “unfollow” my site or something like that.

When I searched on the wordpress site, these are the instructions I found:

Change your settings here > Settings > Discussion
      E-mail me whenever
      Anyone posts a comment
A comment is held for moderation
Someone likes one of my posts
Someone reblogs one of my posts
      Someone follows my blog

      Then go here > http://wordpress.com/#!/read/edit/
      Click http://wordpress.com/#!/read/edit/
Go to “Get new posts by email”
      Select “Never”
